Never rappelled before … so my friend and I figured, why not!? We booked this tour and we had zero regrets. Alonzo and Fabian took great care of us as we ziplinned, rappelled and had our horse back ride back to the main starting point. If you want less people in your group, definitely book the 8AM tour. My friend and I were the only ones who did that time frame and it felt like a private tour. When we got back to the starting point, there were so many people at the 10:30AM tour. Thank you Alonzo and Fabien for keeping us safe and for all the laughs and jokes. #ElCoocho lol

Awesome day, the guides kept us moving which was great. Our group of teens and tweens had a blast. Repelling was unique and memorable, but if you’re not athletic you may get muddy or a little skinned up on your legs if you slip and rub on the rocks. One mom in our group struggled and her 12 year old was too scared to go. Our 11 year old only made it half way because the straps started hurting her. There was a landing that they were able to help her get off. The rest of us 5 made it fine! And everyone had no problems with the zip lines.

We had a super time on the Adventura Mundo combo tour! Alex and Marcos took great care of us as we zip-lined, rappelled, climbed a scary ladder and rode horses. It was very exciting and our whole group of 4 loved our experience!

Highly recommend the rappelling if you’re up for it! One of our favorite experiences in Costa Rica! The guides were great and the location was beautiful next to the waterfalls!

We are a family of 4 (kids- 20 and 15 years) and this was the first adventure of our trip. Each one of us has a different highlight of the day. Never were the words “relaxing zipline” uttered in the same sentence except when comparing ziplining to repelling down and subsequently climbing straight up multiple ladders on a mountainside next to a waterfall. It was a total adrenaline rush. One of is extremely afraid of heights and, despite his initial urge to sit out the repelling, he completed it and the climb back up! The adventure is not for the faint of heart! You don’t need to be in tip top athletic shape, but it is definitely an activity that gets the heart pumping. The afternoon wrapped up with a return on horseback which was a nice way to finish. Our guides were great! It was just our family and 2 guides- Johnny Walker and Alan. They were professional, comical, friendly and happy to take our photos and video. I loved having our small group because we were able to go at our pace and not wait for anyone. We will definitely be recommending this specific tour (company and Alan & Johnny Walker) if we know of anyone planning to visit the area! Pull the trigger and do the whole thing- the repelling and ziplining. ¡Pura Vida!

This was my first time zip lining and rappelling, the guides had good energy and made us feel comfortable the whole time. Rappelling was first, absolutely incredible scaling down the cliff next to a waterfall and then climbing the hanging ladder back up - this part took us about 45 minutes to finish (4 people total). The zip lines were also great (especially the one over La Fortuna). Only feedback is that near the end we started to feel more rushed going from one zip line to the next. As a bonus we got to ride horses back to finish the tour. We did not get the photo package, but the guides we had were great about taking some pictures for us as we went, which we really appreciated. Great experience overall!

Amazing guides (Alex and his ‘son’). The rappel and climb back up will be remembered for a long time….felt epic (we both have a fear of heights). Felt very safe in their hands but not for the faint hearted. Zipwires gave an incredible view of Arenal. Finally back on horseback!

What an experience - my fiancé and I picked the adventure package and it was definitely and adventure! The zip-lining was insane - the most insane part was climbing back up via a ladder - my fiancé cried a bit because it was very high, but our tour guides were so helpful in calming her down and made the experience truly incredible. Zip-lining through waterfalls and forests - it was so beautiful. Would definitely recommend going in the earliest time slot - we had the tour to ourselves which made the experience even better. The later time slot was PACKED. I would not recommend any other company - they were extremely safe, knowledgeable, and fun!

We are a family of 6 (46, 42, 19, 16, 12, 11). We did the waterfall hike, ziplines, and horse back riding. Our main hide was Allen. He was amazing! His English is excellent and he was very patient with us. We chose to pay for the picture option and our photographer was Albero. He took wonderful pictures and I strongly recommend getting the picture add-on!! The hike is no joke. I am not in shape and had to stop and catch my breath several times. Even my children that are very active in sports said it was tough. If you have asthma, def being your inhaler!! There are 2 for bridges that you will cross that bounce and sway and are a bit scary. That being said, the waterfall is magnificent! The water is COLD and there are quite a few river fish! The currents are a little strong in a few places, so be mindful if you are not a strong swimmer. After the swim, we zip lined. Our family was the only ones in our group. One of my kids and myself are very afraid of heights. The first line is at the top of a tall tower that you go up stairs to get to. We had an additional guide for the zip line part, Carlos. My son chose to go accompanied the whole time and that was very helpful. The zip lines were so much fun! I was afraid that they would bounce or sway, but they were rock solid! After the first one, the rest weren't scary! After zip lining was the horse back riding. This was everyone's least favorite part as it was just on a road back to the beginning, but we were tired and probably wouldn't have wanted to take longer. Our tour took longer than usual (slow hiking) and so we missed the provided lunch afterward, which was a bummer, but not a deal breaker. All in all, I highly recommend this tour!! They have water spots at the zip line landings, but you will definitely want to bring your own bottle of water for the hiking and maybe a snack for at the waterfall. Enjoy!! Pura Vida!!! Capi Capi!!

Does this combo Adrenaline tour include 7 or 12 zip lines? We want to do a tour with 12 zip lines.

The combo I paid for had 12 zip lines, rappelling and horse back riding. You have a photographer come with you, and you can decide before the activity if you would be paying for the pictures. It came with brunch also. Your ticket can also be reused the next day to go visit the La Fortuna waterfalls
With regards to parking, you can park your car there and hop on a bus which is organised to take tourists close enough to where the zip lining occurs. I had a rental car and I drove an parked there on site
