- guid0mariam0 contributiTotalmente inaffidabiliAbbiamo prenotato il tour e ricevuto la mail con il coupon e le istruzioni che prevedevano che il tour operator (Century Holiday Hong Kong) venisse a prenderci in albergo alle 9,10. Alle 10, non avendo ancora visto nessuno, abbiamo chiamato il numero del tour operator che ci ha detto che il bus era pieno e che quindi non potevano venirci a prendere !!! Abbiamo quindi perso i soldi ed anche la visita perché era impossibile spostarla ad un giorno diverso. Siamo in attesa di una risposta alla mail inviata a Viator per il rimborso. Good overview of Hong Kong island. Candy, our guide, was great. Only negative is the visit to the jewelry place where the sales staff are too aggressive in trying to get you to buy. Dont like to be pressured and followed
around. Prefer to replace that visit with longer visit at Stanley Market.

We were picked up from and returned to our hotel so this was very convenient for us. 4 in our group which was great. Joelle was very helpful and provided good information for tourists in the area - above & beyond for the tour. We had 4 destinations: The Peak, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Jewellery Shop, Stanley Markets. For us personally, we could have skipped the jewellery place and spent more time at Stanley Markets. Overall though we were pleased to have taken the tour and really enjoyed the time.

This is a good trip if you’ve never been before to HK.
You are picked up and dropped off from your hotel by bus with others. Taken to Victoria peak first, it was misty for us, so not the best day, but still worth seeing. Aberdeen village next, you do have to pay extra 60HK dollars to go on a boat round the harbour if you want to. Jewellery factory next, this consisted of a talk by a member of staff about making of the jewellery then we were taken into the shop. You didn’t get to see any making of the product. I did buy a ring which I love, it’s fairly expensive but beautiful unusual pieces. Next we were taken to the market, that was good, but more time could’ve been spent there and a bit less at the jewellery place.
The tour guide was informative and a bit funny too, he did a good job. I think the tour could’ve been a bit better had we had a little more time in the Victoria peak and markets and maybe time for lunch, well worth the price tho and less hassle than organising the activities yourself.

The tour was a bit of a let down as the online description is not totally accurate. Firstly, the visit to the Fishing Village was an extra charge of $HK60 not mentioned at all until we got there and were asked to pay by the guide. Then the ride on an open-top rickshaw bus to explore several of Hong Kong’s heritage sites with 360-degree views.is actually at the conclusion of the 5 hr. tour, which meant I could not go on it as I had another arrangement - also, if you did go on it you had to make your own way back to your hotel, again, none of this mentioned in the online details on Tripadvisor.

We did the same tour many years ago. the problem now is that HKG is polluted, dirty and is not a nice place to visit. The locals walk all over you. Do not bother with this tour, as we wasted an hour in a jewellery factory which reduced our time at the markets. Get a ONE day premium pass with the Big Bus. Forget Kowloon and do the two routes on Hong Kong island. Do the Sampan tour of Aberdeen too. Do the Hour cruise, but you may want to get of in Kowloon to save time if your hotel is there,

I really enjoyed this tour - the guide, Joelle, was kind and knowledgeable. This trip is a good way to hit the main highlights in Hong Kong if your time is limited.

What was convient about this tour is that it picked you up at your hotel. It was punctual. The tour guide,who referred to herself as Beauty, attempted to be humorous, but her commentary lacked any real content; and at times, it was just annoying. The best part of the tour was Victoria Peak, the view of Hong Kong was amazing. However, following seemed like a racket to get tourist to spend money. The ride on the sampan at the Aberdeen fishing village was and extra $60HKD, which was a quick 5-10min-at best loop around the village. Then on to a jewelry manufacture for a presentation and an attempt at getting tourist to purchase their over priced jewlery. I think we stayed too long there. Then on to Stanely Market, where there was just enough time to buy a souvenir and have a cup of tea, and then back to the hotel. Needless to say, this part felt rushed.
The good part about the tour is that you get to meet people from other parts of the world and have interesting conversations with them.

This tour picks up its passengers from hotels in Kowloon, and transports them to Hong Kong Island to visit its more famous tourist attractions to include Victoria Peak, Stanley Market, and Repulse Bay. The value of this tour is the convenience of having someone arrange the transportation to these locations for you. You could do it yourself after some research and a lot of taxi rides, but it's probably not worth wasting your time.
If you are a first time visitor to Hong Kong, you probably want to take a city tour. This one is worth taking.

We had a funny guide! All the tour was really informative, we visited a lot of must see places! I think it's really worth to take this kind of tour when you are visiting Hong Kong. We booked it online via tourscanner.co to check the prices because there may be big differences between operators. I recommend it for you too, TourScanner is my new discovery, while I am planning my trips!

The afternoon tour is not sold on TripAdvisor. Because when you arrive at Stanley Market at about 5pm, many shops are closing. So the afternoon tour might not be as good quality as morning tour.
4 of us want to take this or some tour like this of Hong Kong from a ship terminal. We will only be at the cruise pier with Princess Cruises on Aug 31 from 7 am to 10 pm. Can this be possible?
Yes. Plan A: Join in a group tour. You take a taxi to the nearest meeting place at Harbour Plaza Metropolis. The meeting time is 08:10am and 12:40 daily. The pirce is 4 Adults x HK$374.00. Round trip taxi will be arranged by yourself. Plan B: Private Tour. Pickup and drop from Kai Tak Cruise Terminal at 09:30. Transfer back to cruise terminal at 14:30. The price is 4 Adults x HK$1,250.00. The ship name is Majestic Princess.

No. the nearest meeting place is Harbour Plaza Metropolis. The meeting time is 08:10am daily. You can not walk in to take this tour. Instead you need to complete the reservation one day ahead and pay by credit card to secure your booking.

No, we do not pickup from airport. How to join in this tour from airport: Please take 24-minute Airport Express, get off at Kowloon Station, Exit D1, walk for 97m (2 minute) to W Hotel. The pickup time from W Hotel is 08:10 daily. Your tour guide has a pickup list and will find you in the lobby. From Airport Station, the 1st train leaves at 05:54. From Kowloon Station back to airport, the last train leaves at 00:52.
I will stay at Novotel Citygate in HK very close to Hong Kong International airport. Can you pick us up at that hotel?

I will be arriving on Cruise ship 3/16/19 and then would need to bring luggage on tour and be dropped at hotel in either Kowloon or Hong Kong Island. Is this possible? Would also be interested in the added transport from hotel to airport 2 days later on afternoon or evening of 3/18/19.
Please go to your hotel to put down your luggage first, then join in our tour. You also need to tell me the hotel name. Then I can check our airport shuttle bus service goes to your hotel or not.
