Blue Cave è una meraviglia unica della natura. Il suo nome lo descrive già perfettamente, un posto unico al mondo. Ampiamente conosciuta per le sue acque cristalline, la Grotta Azzurra attira ogni giorno un gran numero di turisti e gente del posto durante l'estate. Si trova sulla piccola isola di Biševo. La grotta era originariamente accessibile solo con le immersioni in quanto c'era un solo ingresso naturale sotto il livello del mare. Nel 1884 fu costruito un ingresso artificiale abbastanza grande per piccole imbarcazioni.

What Jakov offers on his boat is rarely offered by anyone. The service is top notch, attentive and helpful unobtrusive captain and super nice sailor.
In 15 minutes you are in front of the Blue Cave and they take care of buying tickets so you don't have to wait in line for them.
In addition to a short trip to the Blue Cave, Jakov also offers trips to various beaches, the most beautiful destinations in Vis and Biševo, with a fantastic musical background on the dinghy. If you ask for advices and local perks, they will also recommend where to buy good, restaurants to enjoy in and entertainment. VIP service is Jakov's standard. 😎

Ono sto nudi Jakov na svom brodu rijetko tko nudi. Usluga je vrhunska, pažljiv i uslužan nenametljiv kapetan i super simpatična mornarkinja.
Za 15 minuta ste pred Modrom špiljom a oni se pobrinu i za kupnju karata tako da ne morate čekati u redu za iste.
Osim kratkog izleta za Modru špilju Jakov nudi i izlete na razne plaze, najljepše destinacije Visa i Biševa, uz fantastičan glazbeni background na gumenjaku. Preporučit će vam i vino i hranu i restoran i zabavu. VIP usluga je Jakovljev standard. 😎

Due to the waves from the bora the day before, we attentively were informed by phone that the trip was postponed. Fortunately after one hour we were again called that the sea was calm again and the visit to the blue caves could depart after all. Good service and very attentive crew.

Proffesional, fast, full of adrenaline, and most important safe.
They have best speedboat in Komiza, we came in 10 minutes to the Bisevo island and then we went with another boat in Blue Cave.
I can say that ride was better then the cave :D

Monday 9th of september, we were one full day in Vis and wanted to do a boattrip. Unfortunately 90% of the excurcions were not leaving due to the high waves of that day. Luckily tourguide Jakov has a very strong boat and dared to challenge the waves of the day. So with a lovely mixed group of 8 people in total, we went on a ride to never forget.
Jakov had warned us the first 15 min could be freaky but there was no need to be afraid. Me (as a quickly scared person) was kinda scared but also excited for the trip. Jakov checked in between with me and another freaked lady often if we were okay. With his constant smile he made a very trustworthy impression which made me feel safe. The first stop was really nice and we had some time to chill. Because of almost all the other excurcions were not sailing, it was a lot quieter than usual! Bringing us to the 'Green Cave' (which has an amazing lava-blue sight under water) where normally are other guides to give snorkels, they weren't there because of the weather and we had the chance to swim free with only our group! I did feel a little sad i didn't bring any goggles but the pain in my eyes was all worth it (Jakov expected them to be there ofcourse). Then it was time for the last stop called "The Blue Lagoon".
Actually I wanted to go to the original blue cave but I'm SO happy we took this trip: The Blue Lagoon is added to one of my most beautiful places ever visited! And because of the waves (which weren't so bad after the first 15 min) there was only our group and the owner and his stephson of the little café overthere. We were supposed to stay there for more or less 1,5hour but because our whole group loved it so much there Jakov checked with all of us constantly if we wanted to stay longer. While my friend and I are very flexible (living in the moment) kinda people, we were grateful for this opportunity and that also our whole group agreed. I can imagine normally this isn't always possible but I see it as an amazing skill that Jakov saw our group dynamics and gave us more time. Also the barstaff gave us later on a free bucket to enjoy all together. This brought a divers group of people together, having amazing conversations in one of the most beautiful places ever!
When the sunset was starting Jakov told us we needed to leave because of the waves and ability to see everything. The beginning of the way back was very easy but later on the waves got quite big, still Jakov was very professional and hands-on, making jokes to lighten up the vibes and showing us the sunset in the sea which was simply gorgeous. He managed the waves well and allthough it was exciting, I haven't been worried for real for one moment. He made the whole group feel relaxed and we had a good goodbye!
We promised him to write this review since it was by far the best day of our whole holiday and wanted to say a special thanks for the advises he gave us! Jakov is the best and if you have a chance in Vis to go on his excursion, don't doubt it: It's more than worth it!

Jakov is a great skipper and excellent local host and guide.
With him you can really experience the true spirit of island Vis.

An ideal trip destination from Komiza, Stiniva beach, Green Cave and the Blue Lagoon. Blue Lagoon is celebrated for its crystal clear waters, and fantastic snorkeling. Don't miss this standout destination on this cruise, where you hop aboard a ship and let your skipper whisk you along the coast. As you go, enjoy stops for sightseeing at quaint island villages, and even hop in the water to try snorkeling yourself, with snorkel equipment included.

Wow ! What a trip.Eight of us set out at 1pm with Jacov our guide on the very fast rigid inflatable boat.The sea was very choppy but this just added to the excitement.
We visited Stiniva bay and the green cave and marvelled at the stunning colour of the water in the cave from the light reflection At both places we were able to swim off the boat to explore.
We then visited Budikovac island .We got off the boat to swim and sunbath.There is a fantastic bar there with a friendly barman .
We had a truly amazing trip and returned with the most beautiful sunset in front of us
Would highly recommend this fantastic trip .

Jakov owns a Humber water craft which is very fast and more than capable of safely navigating the seas around Vis and Bisevo.
I expected it to be just a water taxi to and from Bisevo ( a bucket list location for over 22 years). But Jakov took me not only to the Blue Cave, but around the entire island.
The highlight was a swim in cave that is invisible from the water or shore. Having grown up locally, he knew his location which almost no one else does.
If you are in Komiza, make time for a custom, relatively inexpensive tour with Royal Marine Croatia. They are efficient, friendly and very knowledgable.

We had a private day-tour with RMC! Both Roko and Jakov, who was our tour lead, were very proactive the whole time, super nice and of great help. It was a day to remember — from the nicest beaches of Vis to the underwater cave diving.
The boat itself is greatly equippted with snorkeling gear, great music and a place to put your stuff. 225hp guarantee great fun and an adrenaline overdose!
I would highly recommed this to both families and a group of friends. Worth every penny!
