Thanks everyone. We splashed out on the crowne plaza - 40JOD for buffet lunch and Dead Sea swim. Loads of mud for smearing and a really nice beach, plus a slightly tired but huge swimming pool and pretty good food. No problems for teenaged girls in bikinis! We weren’t sure a Dead Sea swim would be that special but it was. Would definitely recommend

Hi Gabriella Would definitely recommend hiring a car. It’s cheaper and gives you the benefit of touring on your own time. Bear in mind, sites to see are somewhat spread out so having your own vehicle will definitely work out. My wife and I hired and was the best thing we could have done. Roads are decent with little traffic especially once out of a major area. Take the plunge 😊 it’s fun and you will definitely remember your trip this way.

Ci sono molti ‘lidi’ scendendo dalla strada principale. Basta avere un po’ di parlantina è un po’ di faccia tosta ma sono una popolazione tranquillissima. Noi siamo scesi da jericho e passato tutta la costa poi abbiamo chiesto ad una stazione di benzina e poi ad un ristorantino sul mare. Enjoy
