Great venue for plays
gen 2020
We were here for a play put on by Artist's Repertory Theatre while their building was being upgraded. We have also been here for a number of other plays.

Diverse choices of plays at all price points. You'll be surprised by how much fun this place is. Do go!

We love going to The Armory! Comfortable seats, well mannered crowd, warm cookies for a $1.00 during intermission. Plays are always well done.

Great plays & musicals, comfortable seats
set 2019
PCS does a terrific job with their plays and musicals. They do a great job with actor selection/presentation. The seats are more comfortable than the average theater - there is actually enough space for knees. The size is nice too as the audience is just the right size to not feel overwhelmed. Bravo!

In the Heights

It was a great play. The Center Stage is a great venue. We sat near the front, but I think there is not a bad seat in the house.

Wonderful venue for a show

Loved the intimate feel to this venue. Great location near restaurants, shopping, hotels as well. Will definitely attend another show there when in Portland.

Great Venue, great shows

Portland Center Stage puts on a variety of plays each season, with consistent high quality of production, acting, and selection of material. It's a just right size hall, with accessible food and beverage before shows. If one had to pick a bone, it would be too few restrooms, especially for women. That's a bit of a surprise, as this venue was built relatively recently.

Native Gardens @ The Armory

We went to see this play called Native Gardens at The Armory and could not have been more entertained by the actors and the dialogue of this play. This play was full of surprises and amusing characters along with some very thought provoking themes.

If you didn't see it, you missed a great play.

i have seen so many great plays here and get on their mailing list for all kinds of great special invitations and free events! and 15 minutes before showtime, tickets are only $20 for what is left!
