Visiting Wimborne with friends and so glad we didn't miss this. Original gifts and artwork. Debbie Kirby's silkwork and the papercutting were highlights.

I have been going to Walford Mill for years and always enjoyed the exhibitions of different crafts. There was always plenty of individual crafts being sold in the shop but now there is a much reduced selection on offer. It's nowhere near as good as it was.

Nice food nice little cafe nice and quite dog friendly has a nice mix of teas and coffees and cakes and biscuits and staff are really freindly!! ☕️🍰

Silk weaving Debby Kirby gave demonstration of hand weaving and showed us the unique paper/silk weaving pictures. Cafe serves local roasted coffee ... Mmmmmm

This crafts place has lots of varying artists work, from jewelry, paintings & cards to glasswork & pottery. You can chat to or just watch the in-house artists at work. There is a weaver & a silkscreen printer there. The goods for sale may not be cheap but they are beautiful quality, with so much originality. Worth a look round, & maybe spoil yourself. There is a little cafe in the garden & seating outside as well.

Loved our time at the Mill. There are a wide range of crafts - ceramics, printing, photography, silk weaving, jewellery and more - but of greatest interest are the artists and makers themselves.
Very welcoming, they were happy to discuss any aspect of their craft and introduce you to the work of others. There is a special cooperative feeling about the atmosphere there. Highly recommended.
Check the days they are open before you travel.
(Cafe was only doing takeaway drinks when we visited)

Great place to go and enjoy a coffee, visit the hand made Newley shop or the crafts within the kill. Nice environment to walk around!

I visit Walford Mill every time I go to Wimborne , which is frequently. It is a wonderful place to go , to be inspired, to learn a new skill, be educated, pick up some beautiful hand crafted treats for yourself or an unique gift for a loved one and of course meet the lovely, very talented crafters.
There is of course the added bonus of the lovely river side location, iconic building and a courtyard with seating where you can enjoy the very delicious food and coffee from the Happyccino café.
Highly recommended destination within a short walk of the town centre.

The young ladie ( Debbie) who is so arty its too good . The displays etc well worth a visit. Only open a few days at present.

I was expecting a lot more crafts. the place was sparse and need a lot more exhibitors and stock. It was such a shame as plenty of space
