Visiting New York in June with a friend and it’s our first time, we are a bit nervous and was thinking of doing a the 2 day bus tour on the downtown route (red) but we have also looked at the uptown tour guide and was wondering can we hop on and off any of the busses or do we hav to stick to on of them aka the downtown tour? Advice would be greatly appreciated.
Don't buy online beforehand!
Big Bus ticket agents in Times Square and other BBus major bus stops, can offer you the same price as online or even better..
Also purchasing bus ticket online means that you are "locked in" for specific dates ..What happens if the weather sucks..
Best "on street " offers are made by the big bus street agents located at
7ave/ 48th street(stop18) (M&Ms store).
This location is the Big Bus NYC "hub" and is where the Downtown and Uptown tours loops start .
.The CLASSIC tix ($50) is good for
1 day and only includes the Downtown (red loop ) and the Uptown (blue loop) .you can ride both loops with this ticket.
The PREMIUM tix ($60) is valid for
2 DAYs but more importantly it allows you to board ALL LOOPS Downtown, Uptown, the Harlem loop , Brooklyn loop ,Night tour, plus an one hour Circle Line boat cruise by the Statue of Liberty .
(Basically you get an extra day, 3 more different bus tour loops, 5 in total and a boat ride for $10 more than the price of a classic tix .
The DELUXE tix( $70) is the same as the Premium tix but is for 3 days.
, all five loops and boat
The PREMIUM and DELUXE is the BEST VALUE .
if you purchase online beforehand you still have to see a ticket agent to process your online voucher for a paper printed ticket..
