If you are trying to find serenity from the hustle bustle of the city, this is for you. The staff here are amazing! From Yuni, to Joe to Liza to each and every one here, wonderful team ~ super attentive and helpful. We did the floating breakfast, the spa. It is basic, don’t expect super high speed WiFi, it is supposed to be peace and quiet.

Terimakasih atas pengalaman stay 3days 2 night di Mere Resort and SPA. Dan terimakasih surprise nya untuk anniversary saya dan suami ke 8 th (ditingkatkan lagi ya service nya). Pelayanan ramah dan helpfull. Viewnya amazing 😍 Thank for Jo, Yogi, mb nengah, dan team yg gak bisa disebut kan 🙏🙏 Pasti kalau ke nusa penida kita datang lagi kesini 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Kita jadi sedih karena harus cek out, pengen stay lebih lama 🥲 tapi harus balik.
Saran : 1. Biar ditambahkan peredam suara di kamar 🤗agar suara di kamar tamu tidak terdengar ke kmr tamu sebelah 2. Breakfast nya lebih diupdate lagi, karena review dari anak-anak saya katanya tidak terlalu enak (tidak sesuai dengan di foto). Menu yg kita pilih kmrn nya, dan yg dtg paginya salah dan kmrn nya kita minta bf d resto tp dibawa k kmr. Pas order kita minta jam 8 pagi harus ready, tp jam 8:15 masih menunggu. Pas order Jo setuju untuk menambah 1 atau 2 ommellete untuk anak-anak tanpa extra charge tp pas check out saya diminta pembayaran extra 150rb (first day ok with charge but the second day I was really dissapointed). Please, info pas taking order bahwa bla bla, bla 3. Upon arrival tidak ada pemberitahuan jam malam di atas jam 7, tp saya sudah diingatkan saja lewat WA hal tsb yg membuat sedikit 'mengganggu' Please, tell this information upon arrival 4. Di room kurang gelas untuk kumur-kumur, ada handuk yang sudah gak layak pakai (robek dan bernoda) , di toilet kurang tong sampah, tong sampahnya kurang isi plastik, tidak ada comb, tutup botol air mineral kotor, lantai toilet dan sudut toilet kurang dibersihkan. Di balcony pas kita check in, agak kotor dgn bulu2 burung dan sedikit debu. 5. Pewangi kamar dan toilet terlalu menyengat, feel not elegant at all and not match to your nice room 6. Akses k pool agak jauh dari suite room 7. Kurang channel TV nya, hanya ada siaran berita

We stayed at the Mere Sea View Resort the last couple of days and would like to share our experiences with you. When we arrived, we first checked out the view from the balcony which was just breathtaking. The surroundings of the hotel are covered in lush green nature. It is always so quiet, which makes it perfect to relax and recover from the busy city life. You can oversee the island and even see the ocean from the pool area. The location and view are just stunning! Also, the rooms have a beautiful interior design and are very comfortable. We felt like at home while staying there.
Unfortunately our experience on beautiful Nusa Penida got clouded by some inconveniences at the hotel.
The staff is only helpful to a certain extend, sometimes it seemed like they were not even trying to help out.. also communicating with them was very hard and it always took them quite a while to understand the easiest questions or the smallest request. Sometimes even google translator was required to figure things out. For the customer service at Mere Sea View we can definitely see improvement. When we arrived the soap and the toilet paper was almost used up and we always had to ask for new toilet paper and room service where to add that we did not even get fresh towels during our stay. In other areas there could be some improvement as well: We experienced two power outages during our 4 nights stay. One of them only lasted for a short while which was manageable for us but the other one lasted longer and happened in the evening. Sitting in the dark with no AC, no wifi and not being able to take a shower after a hot long day was annoying. There was also never an apology given by the staff when we asked about the electricity…they only gave us justifications. Despite that the hotel just opened a few months ago and there was already mold on the wall in the living area from the shower in the bathroom. Although the location of the hotel is insanely beautiful it makes it hard leaving it as well. To travel around the island or go to the closest city to go out for food is very complicated since the local taxis are quite expensive. Walking somewhere is also nearly impossible because of the long distances and it’s also dangerous because of the bad roads and the traffic. We wished someone would have informed us about that in advance. Going along with this we would like to mention that the food offered in the hotel is comparable expensive and the portions leave feel you hungry again after a short time, but the guests kind of rely on it because of the location of the hotel. To which must be added that the hotel doesn’t offer a lot of vegetarian dishes in their menu. Furthermore we ordered twice a dish without the meat and received it with meat. Moreover the wifi just never worked properly. It was very, very slow and during certain times it even took ages to send a simple email. We would not recommend this place for digital nomads, who work remotely and depend on strong wifi. Moreover, we requested some pool towels to go to the pool but unfortunately it was impossible to get some, because they have been to the laundry. We think it is a no go that a hotel with just a few rooms and not a lot of people staying there runs out of towels. It is also important to mention, that it is not possible to pay by card in the hotel. We didn’t know that in advance and ran out of cash, there are not a lot of ATMs on the island, so we had a huge problem to get cash again so we could pay the food in the hotel. Lastly we would like to mention, that the curtains don’t fully prevent the light from coming into the room in the morning and as well the noises around our room didn’t let us sleep longer than 7/8am in the morning, so it is not recommendable for people who have a light sleep and would like to sleep in during their vacation. For every situation the staff only gave a lot of justifications but never really offered out a simple apology.
All in all we see a lot of improvements needed in this hotel to have a comfortable stay, although the view is amazing.

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr sehr schön. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unschlagbar. Wir wurden sehr nett und liebevoll begrüßt und konnten sogar 3 h früher einchecken. Das Zimmer ist schön hergerichtet, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht vom Balkon, sowie vom Pool aus ist ein absoluter Traum. Man sieht direkt das Meer und die schöne grüne Landschaft, außerdem die Vulkane auf Bali. Und on Top gibt es noch einen schönen Sonnenuntergang direkt vom Hotel aus. Das Frühstück ist bei uns mit dabei auch Mittag und Abendessen können im Hotel bestellt werden. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist reichlich, man kann ein Frühstück auswählen und bekommt pro Person einen Saft dazu. Dieses wird sogar auf das Zimmer gebracht. Was uns besonders gefreut hat ist, dass sogar Leute die gerne gesund essen, etwas finden. Unser persönliches Highlight war die Massage, die wir direkt am ersten Tag buchen konnten. Richtig professionell und sehr entspannend. Wir können Dede für eine Massage nur weiterempfehlen. Wer ein paar entspannte Tage auf Nusa Penida verbringen möchte ist in diesem Hotel genau richtig. Wir würden es jedem weiterempfehlen.
