We (3 couples) have to be in Cheongju for a family wedding. The wedding hotel (Grand Plaza Cheogju) is too far from the city centre and too expensive for the use of just a few hours sleep. So, we decided to look around for a hotel which is more reasonably priced and located in the city centre. We found this little gem through our search on TA. We were a bit sceptical in the beginning, because they aren't many reviews on the hotel (especially in English). However, there were a few very positive reviews on Booking.com, so, we went ahead an booked 3 superior rooms. We were very surprised when we arrived!! The condition and facilities of this hotel way exceeded our expectations! Location is very central to the shopping district and market (with restaurants) of the city. We couldn't find any fault with it. Although the staff spoke only limited English, they were very friendly and helpful. They were so generous and hospitable, becasue a lot of snacks and drinks were provided for free from the lobby and also in the little fridge in the room! Really, really unexpected and highly recommended. I have included some photos of the room to show how awesome this place is!…

Friendly, clean, good location, free drinks and food. 清州大推薦旅店，位在西門市場烤肉一條街，4月賞櫻花的無心川就在隔壁，還有城市街商圈、大家必逛的HOME PLUS也都在附近。 旅店人員都非常親切及熱情，即便溝通不易也不用擔心，會拿GOOGLE翻譯來溝通。大廳無限供應的水、料飲、泡麵、吐司及研磨咖啡。 房間設備齊全且乾淨，而且有雙重隔音門，還能協助外賣點單服務。 真的非常非常推薦來清州時入住HOTEL YAJA 。
